MAT145 combines differential and integral calculus. The directory also separates MAT165 linear algebra and vector analysis from MAT265 differential equations, and includes preparation courses MAT001 and MAT144. Your subject, course name and current chapter help identify the right review. Include your code if you know it.

Math tutoring for ÉTS calculus and engineering foundations

Your tutor can compare your integral with substitution, integration by parts and partial fractions, explaining the clues that make a method suitable. You can then check the antiderivative by differentiating and use a sketch to interpret the sign of a definite integral. The free integration-method lesson offers further practice.

Differential and integral calculus

MAT145 moves from limits and derivatives to optimization, integrals, and sequences and Taylor series. Check both computation and interpretation: what is changing, what is accumulating, and which domain is allowed? The course guide distinguishes displacement from distance in a worked example.

ÉTS physics help: forces, electricity or waves

For mechanics, your tutor can check the system and force directions in your diagram before helping you write the equations. For waves, you can read the graph together, identify each quantity and check its units. Bring your chapter and attempted solution so the lesson can start at the unclear step.

Forces and motion

For a question from ING150 Statique et dynamique, begin with the mechanics guide and send your current chapter. Bring a force diagram and the equation you tried to show where the difficulty begins.

Plan a lesson around your course

Lessons are one-to-one. Send the subject and the step you need help with; include your course code and chapter if you have them. For exam preparation, include the date and assigned topics. We confirm whether we can help with your topic and whether a suitable time is available before booking.

60 minutes online · $55 CAD

A focused topic, a small practice set or one recurring difficulty.

90 minutes online · $75 CAD

Connected concepts or a longer midterm or final review.

5-hour online package · $240 CAD

Several sessions with a study plan agreed around your course.

Online prices are the total you pay, with no extra charges. In-person tutoring in Montréal is by request: location, availability and price are agreed before booking.
