CEGEP tutoring

Collège de Maisonneuve math & physics tutoring

Math and physics tutoring for Maisonneuve students. Bring a topic or a question, even if you do not know how to start. A tutor can explain the idea, work through the calculation with you and help you try the next problem independently.

Tutoring sessions are currently taught in English. The French website and resources help you explore the service and topics. We confirm topic coverage and availability before booking.

Start from your course and the kind of question

Choose the code from your current course outline. If you do not know it, send us the topic or question you want to work on; we’ll confirm whether we can help before you book.

  • 201-SN2-RE · Limits and derivatives. Separate an algebra obstacle from a question about change. Work through the uncertain step, then explain the result in words or on a graph.
  • 201-SN3-RE · Integration. Decide what is being accumulated before choosing a technique. Check an antiderivative by differentiating and explain what a definite integral measures.
  • 203-SN1-RE · Mechanics. Start with the physical picture. A tutor can help you connect motion, forces and the question being asked instead of searching for a formula by name.
  • Another course or a foundation to review. Find the code or ask about the topic that is blocking your current work.

A session can focus on understanding one concept, setting up a problem or checking a method you have tried. If an algebra or function step is getting in the way of calculus or physics, your tutor can review that step with you and return to the original question. For exam preparation, use your instructor’s announced scope to choose the practice; the free lessons below are topic practice, not a Maisonneuve exam paper.
